Can we meet you?

My name is Akinsanya Qudus, a full-stack software developer passionate about creating scalable, user-focused web applications and using technology to solve real-world problems.

What were you doing before coming to Moat Academy?

Before joining Moat Academy, I wasn’t actively pursuing any career path. I was simply following the usual post-graduate route by completing my NYSC service.

What is the name of your current company and role?

I currently work as a Full-Stack Web Developer at Prolanz Digitals

What exactly do you want to achieve with the software development skills?

My goal is to build impactful digital products, contribute to innovative teams, and eventually create technology solutions that empower businesses and individuals in Africa and beyond.

Why did you choose Moat Academy for Developers?

I chose Moat Academy for their strong reputation and practical training style. My brother-in-law also recommended them, sharing how successful their alumni are, which made my decision easy.

How have things changed for you since gaining software development skills?

Things have changed significantly. I’m now able to build real projects, take on client work, and work confidently as a software developer. It has given me career direction and great opportunities.

What was your biggest fear before coming to Moat Academy, and what do you feel about it now?

My biggest fear before coming to Moat Academy was not being able to build a career. I didn’t see a clear path with Environmental Science, and I was worried about my future. However, just two months after completing the program, I secured a job and also worked on two paid projects. Now, I feel confident, motivated, and proud of how far I’ve come.

How will you describe your experience at Moat Academy?

My time at Moat Academy was one of the best experiences of my life. Those three months were more impactful than my five years at university. The learning was intense, inspiring, and full of growth. I never wanted to miss a single class because every day mattered. Moat Academy challenged me and helped me become the developer I am today.

What have you been able to achieve with the training?

Thanks to the training, I can now build real web applications, work confidently on client projects, and I even secured a developer role shortly after graduating. More importantly, Moat Academy gave me the confidence and foundation to grow and succeed in tech.

Can you share your experience since graduating from Moat Academy?

Since finishing Moat Academy, I’ve landed a developer role, completed paid projects, and kept growing in tech. I once walked into an interview not realizing it was for a senior role, but the HR later offered me a contract to improve his web application! That moment really showed me how far I’d come, and I’m excited for what’s next.

What advice do you have for those coming into Moat Academy?

My advice is simple: stay consistent, be curious, and don’t skip a single class. The program is intense, but every lesson matters. Practice daily, ask questions, and embrace the challenges, it will push you further than you think and set you up for real success in tech.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years, I see myself as a senior developer leading impactful projects, mentoring upcoming developers, and building innovative solutions that make a difference. I want to keep growing, learning, and contributing to the tech industry on a bigger scale.

When you are thinking of accelerating your career path in the software development industry, think of Moat Academy.
