My name is Munachi Enyinnaya, a graduate of Plant Biology and Biotechnology. Dedication is my strength, I pride myself on giving all it takes to achieve success or meet a set goal.
What were you doing before coming to Moat Academy?
I was working as a customer service representative before coming to Moat.
What exactly do you want to achieve with the software development skills?
With my software skills, I hope to develop software products and services that will solve business problems.
Why did you choose Moat Academy for Developers?
I chose moat academy for 2 reasons. The first was because of her affordability. The second reason was the success track of her alumni. After researching some Moat Academy alumni, I was impressed with the career progress they made within a short time. So I believed if these people attended this academy and are doing this well, then the academy sets the right foundation for beginners.
How have things changed for you since gaining software development skills?
Things have changed positively. I have always longed for a career that demands my analytical ability and creativity. My training at Moat Academy enabled me to start a career that satisfies my desires. I now work as a back-end developer.
What was your biggest fear before coming to Moat Academy and what do you feel about it now?
Before coming to Moat Academy, I asked some software industry experts if it were possible to completely learn all the concepts stated in the Moat Academy curriculum within 12 weeks. All the answers I got were discouraging. So I developed doubts about the program. However, within the first 3 weeks of intensive classes, my doubts faded away. I am happy that I didn't allow doubts to stop me from getting all the program offers.
How will you describe your experience in Moat Academy?
My experience at Moat Academy was great. I met intelligent minds and made good friends. The environment was friendly and the support was awesome.
What have you been able to achieve with the training?
With the Moat Academy training, I have been able to secure a job as a software developer. During my study, I was able to develop a dispatch rider application. It's unimaginable!
Can you share your experiences with us since you graduated from Moat Academy?
My experience has been great, I have been able to effectively work with experts at my place of work, I have learned a lot from them and I have been resourceful too.
What advice do you have for those coming into Moat Academy?
One piece of advice I would give prospective students is to gear up for herculean but analytical tasks that would make them better developers. To become a professional developer within 12 weeks no be moimoi but e go easy if you serious!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In the next 5 years, I hope to be a senior software developer.
