At Moat Academy for Developers, we offer two types of trainings and we take them with infectious enthusiasm:
1. We train those interested even with no prior knowledge of software development to become software developers
2. We train those that are already Software Developers to become certified in cyber security coding as CertNexus Cyber Secure Coder
CertNexus Cyber Secure Coder™ (CSC) is the comprehensive certification for validating secure coding practices – for all developers, in all programming languages, on all platforms.
Secure coding practices entail writing code in a way that will prevent potential security vulnerabilities. This includes maintaining both your source code and any third-party libraries in a secure state.
CSC also maps to the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework job roles: Software Developer (SP-DEV-001) and Secure Software Assessor (SP-DEV-002).
Why Get Certified:
According to Megan Smith Branch, Chief Product Officer- CertNexus in the video below, titled “THE VALUE OF CERTIFICATION”:
“When you obtain a certification, it validates that you have the capabilities to perform in these roles; employers value industry validated certifications as they take the guesswork out of which candidates truly have the capabilities versus those who simply select the correct keyword on their resume.
According to recent study by ISACA, candidates with an industry recognized certification can earn up to 25% more with a certification.
According to another study done by Gallup and Lumina foundation, being certified in a profession leads to greater employment and more confidence in career prospects... “
The CertNexus Cyber Secure Coder™ Exam, CSC 210
The examination will certify that the successful candidate has the knowledge, skills, and abilities to design and develop a variety of applications for various platforms, analyze security concerns outside of specific languages and platforms, use a number of testing and analysis tools, and mitigate against common threats to data and systems.
Target Candidates:
Software developers, testers, and architects who develop in multiple programming languages for any type of platform who desire or are required to develop highly protected applications for business and organizational use.
