Today, we celebrate the participants in our ongoing coding boot camp (Cohort 30), which began on January 13, 2025, for their hard work and devotion.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, April 10, 2025, with about a week left in the boot camp, our participants demonstrated various web applications they developed from the ground up using the newly gained knowledge, skills and abilities.<\/p>\n

Here, we highlight four of them that typically deal with some of the issues facing the economy today.<\/p>\n

Transportation: Peddle by Ifeoluwa<\/h4>\n

Having another means of transportation that is accessible and efficiently run that does not use fossil fuel energy could bring some relief to the masses<\/p>\n

Peddle is a bicycle rental platform where members can hire bicycles at the nearest station and return them to the closest station to their final destination.<\/strong><\/em>\"<\/a>It was developed using PHP OOP for the backend and frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstraps, and Javascript\/Jquery.<\/p>\n

Business : BizNaija by Mary<\/h3>\n

BizNaija is an online business directory where businesses can enlist for increased visibility.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This allows SMEs to save money on advertising while also increasing sales of their products and services.\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It was developed using Python Flask for the backend and frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstraps, and Javascript\/Jquery.<\/p>\n

Food: Foodie Go by Samuel<\/h4>\n

Foodie Go makes it easy to order and receive food products online, particularly fish and poultry.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

It will eventually lower the cost of food for the general public by increasing supply, making it more accessible, and lowering logistical costs.<\/p>\n

\"<\/a>Samuel developed it using PHP OOP for the backend and frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstraps, and Javascript\/Jquery.<\/p>\n

House Rent: Easy by JB.<\/h4>\n

Rent-Easy is a property classified ads that enable Landlords and prospective tenant direct interaction eliminating middlemen (agency\u2019s fee) thereby reducing housing cost.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"<\/a>Using frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, Bootstraps, and Javascript\/Jquery with Python Flask for the backend, JohnBosco developed Rent-easy.<\/p>\n

At Moat Academy we upskill our participants to the point that they can develop web applications on their own even before before the program is over.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
