Can we meet you?<\/strong>
\nMy name is Jimoh Rukayat, I am a graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Soil Science and Land Management (SSLM) department and I am a Full stack Developer.<\/p>\n

What were you doing before coming to Moat Academy?<\/strong>
\nWell, before coming to Moat Academy I<\/a> was teaching in a private secondary school.<\/p>\n

What is the name of your current company and role?<\/strong>
\nI work at Uniswitch as a Fullstack Developer.<\/p>\n

What exactly do you want to achieve with the software development skills?<\/strong>
\nI want to build or perhaps contribute to building web<\/a> Application(s) that solve(s) the problems of multitude that use it\/them.<\/p>\n

Why did you choose Moat Academy for Developers?<\/strong>
\nMoat Academy trained one of the people that I look up to in the industry.<\/p>\n

How have things changed for you since gaining software development skills?<\/strong>
\nFor the few months that I\u2019ve dived into software development, life has really changed for me, like I can do things I couldn\u2019t do before without having to check again, though I haven\u2019t gotten to where I want to be but I know with time and experiences I\u2019ll go beyond what I see for myself by the grace of God.<\/p>\n

What was your biggest fear before coming to Moat Academy and what do you feel about it now?<\/strong>
\nHmmmm! My biggest fear before Moat Academy was FAILURE!<\/p>\n

How will you describe your experience in Moat Academy?<\/strong>
\nI would describe my experience at Moat Academy as a very tasking one, because I had to Learn<\/a>, Unlearn and Relearn every day.<\/p>\n

What have you been able to achieve with the training?<\/strong>
\nI have been gaining hands on experiences and contributed to building two web applications(name withheld) which would be launched soon.<\/p>\n

Can you share your experiences with us since you graduated from Moat Academy?<\/strong>
\nI started applying for jobs immediately after graduation, I had interviews with different companies and I got a\u00a0remote<\/span>\u00a0job with a company (name withheld... smiles) as a Frontend Engineer 12 days after Moat Academy and to the glory of God, life has been good since after the training!<\/p>\n

What advice do you have for those coming into Moat Academy?<\/strong>
\nI would advise those coming to Moat Academy to be ready to learn and never miss a class for any reason. It\u2019s not going to be easy but with dedication it will be easy and to always PRACTICE.<\/p>\n

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?<\/strong>
\nIn 5 years, I hope to be a Senior Software Engineer working for one of the biggest technology companies. (smiles)<\/p>\n
